People, Lab data, and Supplies
The Lab lens has three pages. People is the starting point; Lab data holds shared writeups, and Supplies covers inventory and funding.
People
Open /people for mentorship and working relationships. Lab heads and delegated managers see the lab's People view with member details and announcements. Members see their own relationships. Access and available controls depend on your role.
Lab data
Open /lab-data to search writeups that members have shared with the lab. Filter by person or record type, then select a record to read it. This view respects sharing permissions and excludes notes scoped to a one-on-one relationship. It does not expose every private notebook.
Supplies
Open /lab-supplies for lab inventory and funding accounts. Inventory is searchable when the inventory feature is enabled. Funding accounts show spending against budgets and can be managed from this page. Purchases use a transparent ledger; the old purchase-approval queue has been retired.
Lab data and lab Supplies require lab-head or delegated-manager access. Individual controls can still require the lab head. These lab views are separate from your personal notebook and Supplies page.
